Bateman Bay

Site of the old town ship Mauds Landing. Popular for fishing, picnics and chilling out.

Bills Bay (sanctuary zone)

Bills Bay is at the end of the Coral Bay road. It is a great swimming area and fantastic snorkeling beach. It is easy to get to from where your staying in Coral Bay. It is right next to the boat mooring area so people should be careful of moving boat traffic while snorkelling.

Skeleton Bay (shark nursery, sanctuary zone)

Young grey reef sharks begin schooling in Skeleton Bay around September to early January. You can see the sharks of the beach without entering the water, which is prohibited to protect these creatures. Their size does vary between 50 cm to 180 cm. If you walk north along the beach about 25 to 30 min you will easily find it.
