Coral Bay Wildlife
The Ningaloo Reef Marine Park and land surrounding Coral Bay is teaming with wildlife above and below ocean. The diversity of wildlife found on the reef is amazing for its relatively small size. We get around 270 species of coral, 500 species of fish, marine turtles, and dugongs. Manta rays are a unique feature of Coral Bay as we have one of the few resident populations in the world and are able to see them year round.
Kangaroos, a wide variety of lizards, and resident and migratory birds are just some of the wildlife that can be seen around the township of Coral Bay.
