Winter Forecast: Warm & Sunny

What a stunner of a day! In fact, the whole month is set to be lovely, high 20's during the day with plenty of sunshine to caress your weary winter blues away. Coral Bay, as well as the rest of northern Western Australia, is a haven for outdoor activities during the dark, damp days of August here in the Southern Hemisphere (or a great break in the heat and humidity of summer in the Northern Hemisphere!).

Coral Bay EcoTours is the longest continually owned and operated eco - safari company on the Ningaloo Reef! Since 1994 we have been delighting clients with first class interaction into our incredible marine world, here in our little slice of paradise, which is also a UNESCO World Heritage site (one of only two in all of Western Australia!). Not only do we swim with Manta Rays year round, this is the season to check off your bucket list - a swim with the mighty Humpback Whale! Absolutely a life changing experience. With over 30,000 migrating through our waters between June and October, you are almost guaranteed a sighting, if not a swim. In fact, Coral Bay is one of the only locations on the planet you can interact and swim with Humpback Whales, during the month of July! It's never too early to book in advance for the rest of this year and into 2019 when the largest fish in the ocean returns - Whale Shark season begins in March. BOOK NOW

Sure, it's a bit of a drive to come up from Perth, but that is part of the adventure! Stop into Kalbarri and canoe the Murchison river for a day before heading into Carnarvon and enjoying this "banana belt" of the west, where you can tour plantations and get your fill of fresh fruit, vege's, local meat, and seafood before ending in the delightful hamlet of Coral Bay. With over 300 days of sunshine annually, Western Australia is always a sure bet. Still have time on your hands? Continue up the coast a bit to Onslow, the gateway to the Mackerel Islands, where you will not find any better fishing in all of Oz. Or if waterfall chasing is more your style, August is prime hiking temps for the red rocks of Karijini National Park. Don't fret if you don't have a 4WD, the Flying Sandgroper is perfectly suited to take you on a day trip or longer, and even offers pick up from Coral Bay, giving you the luxury of sitting back and taking in the scenery.

Of course we know sometimes you just need a good 3-4 day break in your everyday routine. We have you covered here as well, with private charter flights, directly into Coral Bay from Jandakot Airport. Low flying, offering spectacular views of the magnificent outback and gorgeous beach line, lakes and blow holes, from Perth, north along the Coral Coast. Perfect for groups of up to 5 persons, and getting you into Coral Bay in a little over 4 hours. Ask us how!

Want more? Coral Bay EcoTours can also offer one way car rental to Karijini or even to Broome, where you can easily fly back to Perth at your convenience. Want to fly some, drive some, and take a few tours? We can easily plan anything from a 3 day get- away to a month long escape, the vast Western Australian coast line, is our back yard, logistics are a breeze and Coral Bay EcoTours is here to customize your trip from A to Z.
