SNORKEL GUIDE/BOAT CREW

Working in varied roles across our 3 vessels, we're looking for passion, strong work ethic and proactiveness! 

The main duties of our snorkel guide/boat crew are:

• Conducting safety and snorkel briefings for guests, and marine life commentary

• Safely guiding guests of ranging ages and abilities on snorkel tours in varying weather conditions

• Attending to various needs of guests and assisting with snorkel gear troubleshooting 

• Cleaning, food prep and equipment upkeep

• Working cooperatively with your fellow crew and skipper for the best interests of the tour and our guests

• Advocating for and demonstrating respectful interactions with marine life

 Essential qualifications/skills for this role are:

-Current first aid and CPR certification

-Passion for the marine environment and marine tourism

-A strong sense of in-water safety

-Strong communication and customer service skills

 

Highly regarded skills for this role are:

-Previous experience working in marine tourism / on boats

-Surf lifesaving, lifeguarding, bronze medallion, swim teaching and/or rescue diver experience

-Familiarity with booking system 'Rezdy' for assisting with office operations
